Walgreens: 5 Tips to Save

  1. Walgreens coupon policy is available online.  It’s a great idea to print out the Target coupon policy and keep it in your coupon binder or box to refer to while shopping.
  2.

  3. Walgreens offers printable store coupons, as well as store coupons in their weekly advertisement, store coupons by e-mail, and store  coupons found in in-store booklets often found near the entrance or pharmacy.
  4.

  5. Walgreens Register Rewards work like cash that can only be used at Walgreens, except you will not get cash back if your purchase is under the value of the Register Rewards.  You may “roll” your Register Rewards, by using them to purchase items that qualify for more Register Rewards, lowering your out-of-pocket cost.  However, Register Rewards will not roll on the same product.  You must purchase a different product that will produce Register Rewards to “roll”.
  6.

  7. While Walgreens will allow you to use a store coupon and a manufacturer coupon on the same product, you must purchase the same amount of items as coupons used.  Therefore, if you are purchasing Dove Body Wash and plan to use a $1/1 Walgreens store coupon and $1/1 manufacturer coupon, you must purchase a “filler” item, so the number of coupons is equal to the number of products.  Look for small and inexpensive filler items near the register, like gum.
  8.

  9. Walgreens released a monthly Easy Saver Booklet with store coupons inside.  They are often found by the register, entrance, or pharmacy.
